10. Remove the key from the key switch

and cover the key switch with the

moisture cap (if equipped).

DRAINING THE COOLING

SYSTEM

In cold temperatures or before long-term

storage, be sure to drain the seawater from

the cooling system.

1. Put a pan under the seawater drain

cocks.

2. Loosen the drain cock at the side of the

thermostat cover and drain the water

from the inside.

3. Loosen the three bolts holding the side

cover (Figure 1, (7)) of the seawater

pump. Remove the cover and drain the

seawater from the pump body

(Figure 1, (4)). Reinstall the cover and

retighten the bolts when finished.

4. Close the drain cock.
